Sundakkai (Turkey Berry) is marinated in curd, with salt, and sun dried till it's completely dehydrated. These sun-dried berries can be fried just before serving. Girijapaati serves Sundakkai and Manathakkali vathals with a meal at least 2-3 times a month for her family's well-being.
