Vepillai Katti literally means bundle of leaves. This raw dry pickle is made with fresh citron leaves and spices that are minced together. This combination is an excellent digestive and enhances the flavour of any meal it's served with.
After a heavy meal, Girijapaati insists on her family having a serving of curd rice with Vepillai Katti to aid digestion. Girijapaati fondly recalls her mother serving this dry pickle with coconut oil and idlies, during her childhood.

Ready to Eat. Serve with curd rice for a light meal to settle the stomach. Can be mixed with curd to make a delicious raita or pachadi.
