A favourite for the harvest festival of Pongal or Sankranthi in Tamil Nadu - Paal Chakkarai Pongal, Akkaravadisal or Milk Sweet Pongal is a delicious and nourishing sweet that combines milk, rice, lentils and jaggery.

This Ready-To-cook mix saves time but is 100% fresh and natural, free of preservatives. You can enjoy your hot home cooked meal made with love. 

Just 4 Steps to Prepare Your Paal Chakkarai Pongal (1 pack - 1kg Pongal - Serves 4)

  1. Empty dry milk pongal mix in 800ml of water in a pressure cooker. Set aside the Ghee and Pongal Seasoning Pack for later. 
  2. Pressure cook the soaked mix with the water for about 6 whistles. Keep in high flame for 1st whistle and medium to low flame for next 5 whistles. 
  3. Remove cooker from stove. Wait for 5 mins till the pressure settles and remove lid.
  4. Add the packet of ghee and the pongal seasoning provided. Mix everything together and serve hot.
